· Time limited - Only use embryos for cloning until easier to use adult cells.
· Genetic research is an integral part of medicine research.
· Genetic research is monitored by the law, but has vast potential benefits.

· Warning! - Too little information about long-term consequences.
· Warning! - Has effects which would be irreversible.
· Warning! - Places too much power in the hands of scientists who could use genetic engineering.
· Warning! - Treats the human body as a commodity no different from plants.
· Offers the possibility of people having to be genetically screened before getting life insurance, senior jobs, with anyone likely to develop illness or die young banned – GATTACA!
