‘Genesis 4:1-10’ it about two brothers who are sacrificing something for god, Cain doesn’t sacrifice a lot and Abel does, then god prefers Abel because of this so Cain gets jealous and out of spite he kills his brother, but then God tells him off and he realises what he has done and is sorry!
I think this is trying to teach people to not become jealous, especially when it’s their own problem that the jealousy has occurred. I also think this is trying to tell people that rage shouldn’t take over and make people do stupid things.
